Audience

Application developers who are building graphical interface applications using Microsoft's C#.

Prerequisites

Programmers who have attended an introductory C# class or have at least 6 months C# programming or comparable experience.

Objectives

Upon successful completion, the participant will be able to:
  • Perform appropriate screen edits at run-time.
  • Enhance an application's appearance and behavior.
  • Trap run-time errors in code.
  • Provide full data access (Inquire, Add, Update, Delete) to data structures supported by ADO.NET.
  • Read XML files using ADO.NET.
  • Use LINQ with XML.
  • Create and invoke a simple Web Service using C#.
  • Create and invoke a simple WPF application.
