Prerequisites

Programming background in previous version of VB.Net and some understanding of HTML and web pages.

• Create and invoke a simple Web Service using VB.Net.
• Create Webforms focusing on code behind forms.
• Use Server, Data, Navigation and Login Controls.
• Use Master Pages and nested Master Pages.
• Create Themes and Skins.
• Utilized the Cascade Style Sheets designers.
• code using the ASP.Net AJAX controls.
• Discuss the use of Web Part Controls when building a WebForm.
• Add code to Web Server Control event procedures.
• Validate user input both Client and Server side.
• Access data with ADO using DataReader and DataSet Classes.
• Read and write XML.
• Manage session state within a web application.
• Add ASP.Net error handling to a web application.
